In an earlier post we plastidipped the front grille and emblem on the Infiniti G35 coupe. But the G35 was seeing further paint wear issues as seen in Figure 1 and 2. The roof was looking pretty bad and starting to rust.
So I took a couple of quotes off Facebook Marketplace and Instagram for local installers who would install a carbon fiber wrap on the hood, roof and trunk. In the end I went with A. B. Wraphouse who did a fantastic job. He is just a young guy doing this from his home garage and is just into doing car cosmetic changes.

So I removed it using a trim removal tool from Harbor Freight (blue tool in Figure 1) and purchased a $7 black Plastidip spray can (Figure 2) from Home Depot to paint it. The process of doing this is very simple and can be done in under 20 minutes for the first coat, and every other coat can be applied every 30-40 minutes.
